As part of our Marae trip, A6 have experimented with drawing some of the koru patterns they saw inside the wharenui. To create their Koru Art the children had to
- draw at least 2 koru patterns
- outline their patterns with a creative craft paint
- use only 2 colours to paint their art work
- control the direction of their brushes
- take a photo of their art work and post it on the blog
